Tutorial: Paintovers with Corel Painter Essentials

Using Corel Painter Essentials'5 to filter and then paint over a 3D render.
The original 3D render, created in Blender:
Open up Corel Painter Essentials (I used version 5). Go to the "Photo painting" window and browse for your image. Set "Autopaint" to "Pastel drawing" , press start, and wait until it's done.
Turn off "Clone colour from source image". You're now done with the photo painting tab. Go up to the brush settings and choose the "Square X-soft pastel" from "Chalk Pastel and Crayons". I usually start with the opacity at about 15% and the brush size large, then decrease size and increase opacity as I go.
Start painting! Use the eye dropper to match colours, working from the back to the front. Here's my final image:
